Ok, time to own up. I’m 6’2″ 209 lbs with 23% body fat and bald. Sometimes I think it’s amazing my wife still loves me. Today, I started the journey to better health. Our friends at replenishpdx have me on our cleanse and P90X is waiting in the wings. So, the first meal which included nuts, apple juice and coconut milk and other items, looks very questionable. However, I will admit, it tasted great! Of course, I wanted to eat six more bowls of it, because it seemed like not enough. But, I do get to eat again in a couple hours. It’s a Blueberry Cucumber smoothie. Yes, I will post a picture and my reaction to it.

I’m freaking out! Laura just read me the info on the cleanse we are starting Monday. The food and smoothies look and sound amazing but seriously there is one thing that’s really wigging me out. I have to give myself an Enema. I don’t know if I can do it right or spell it right. I’m all about cleaning out the system but I gotta do that?
Have any of you ever done that? Please reassure me that it’s not as bad as it seems. Please!
By the way, if you haven’t signed up to join us on this journey now that know what will really happen, why don’t you?

Spanking is still an issue, as Laura and Todd went to a mediation with the In-Laws and it helped. At least now we all understand each other even if we don’t agree. Even though this has been tough, it’s been healthy since it has opened up lines of communication and isn’t that what we all need?

Don’t know if you know, but the formula companies are putting on a full court press of advertising, trying to make people believe that Formula is better than breast milk. They are going so far as to say that if your child doesn’t like their vanilla enhanced formula, then try Chocolate. Seriously? I guess the idiot who came up with idea didn’t like the taste of formula back in ’82. This must be his way of getting back at mom.
.
The next time you see an ad on TV and you see a cute baby, and hear a soft warm voice telling you about how great a particular product is, remember this. Enfagrow wants to have your baby drink chocolate milk all the time. It reminds us that the companies that make all of those products you see every time you walk down an aisle in a grocery store don’t care about you or your babies health. They just want their dollar and if it takes getting your child sick, who cares.
You might say that last comment is unfair, but sticking a bottle in your babies mouth with chocolate milk is unfair. You never gave him or her a chance.
